The Innovation Mission to Japan has just wrapped up, and Sempro was there. This event was all about fostering deep tech relations, with a focus on semiconductors, photonics, quantum technology, and nanotechnology.

Representing Sempro, our CEO, Ewald Peters, and China Sales Director, Oliver Hsieh, were present, demonstrating our commitment to global collaboration and technological advancement. They were in the company of a diverse range of institutions and companies, including advanced materials companies, research institutes, and universities.

In related news, Japan and the US have recently agreed on a Basic Semiconductor Revitalization Strategy, which includes enhancing basic production capacity for IoT, realizing next-generation semiconductor technology through collaboration, and conducting research and development for future technology such as photonics-electronics convergence and quantum computing. The market size for semiconductors is expected to reach $500 billion by 2025, $750 billion by 2030, and $1000 billion for data center and SSD applications.
