The jury announced winners from ”Chip Exhibit” Mondial Leuvensbroek!

What happens when young students from Mondial College Leuvensbroek get a closer look at the world of microchips and technology?

We got the answer. 😉

During their visits to Sempro Technologies BV, CITC – Chip Integration Technology Center and Trymax Semiconductor, student teams presented the chip-exhibits they had developed based on what they learned. The results were impressive 👏 : creative concepts, strong technical insights, and presentations that clearly reflected the dedication and teamwork behind each project.

A jury evaluated the exhibits on technical depth, relevance to the intended audience, quality of execution, and originality. Two winning teams earned an invitation to participate in the Nijmegen Technology Day on September 12, 2026. While the winning teams deserve special recognition, the real success goes beyond the awards. Nice to see students become excited about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and that is exactly what these initiatives are about. 👈

Who knows? Some of these students may return in the future as interns, graduates, or even colleagues. And that would be the greatest achievement of all.
