New young talents in Semiconductors –Chip Exhibit 2026

For the third time, Ewald Peters (CEO of Sempro) proudly organized the Chip Exhibit in 2026—an initiative that continues to grow in both impact and its ability to inspire young talent.

This year, we were once again joined by CITC as a valued partner, and we were pleased to welcome Trymax as a first-time contributor.

In collaboration with Mondial College (Leuvensbroek, Nijmegen), this initiative provides students with hands-on experience through an interactive chip exhibit—bringing semiconductor technology to life and demonstrating its importance in applications such as electric vehicles and green energy solutions.

As part of this program, we organized a company excursion for over 60 students from Mondial College, with the following goals:

• Introducing students to microchip technology
• Inspiring enthusiasm for our field
• Presenting an introductory assignment
• Connecting with potential future colleagues

At Sempro, our daily work focuses on supporting customers in the development of semiconductor power devices—from initial concept to solutions in trim & form, singulation, laser deflash, and cleaning. Beyond technology, we strongly believe in shaping the future of our industry by actively engaging with the next generation.

The energy and curiosity shown by the students were truly inspiring. And this is just the beginning—we look forward to expanding this initiative even further next year.
